A tip for bindings

I don't know where I got this from or where I saw it,
or else I would be giving the person credit.
I was getting ready to pin the binding on a MugRug I
am making when I remembered this tip I read about and
I decided to try it.
After sewing your binding to your quilt or mugrug in my case.
Run a thin line of white school glue inside of your 1/4" seam allowance.
Press your binding down with a hot iron.  Your glue will dry
and hold your binding in place without the use of pins.
No more sticking your fingers!
Making it easy to sew your binding in pace.

If anyone knows where this idea comes from.
Please leave me a comment so I can give
this person credit for a wonderful tip.
